Corbeau sport line evolution seat finally installed, fantastic easy way to gain 4 inches of headroom and better lateral support as well. I'm 6'7", pretty evenly proportioned, 36 inch inseam and the rest in torso. With stock, non-Recaro, seats, I had maybe an inch of headroom, nowhere near enough for a helmet, and I felt like I was looking out too high from the windshield. Tried to capture selfie pics of how much room I have now, both with and without helmet. It is a G-Force SA2010, adds quite a bit of height to the top of my head, and still clears by at least an inch when I am in an upright good control driving position.

4" is huge difference! are you able to determine where that might come from, is it the mounting and seat bottom cushion size/design or both?

another question, hehe, you can still slide it forward/back and such right?

Yes, I agree, it definitely is a huge difference, which is exactly what I needed. This model of seat is expressly designed for minimizing seat height, so it is in the design of the seat as well as where the padding is and is not located. In the mustang, the stock seats stick pretty high up in order to position normal size drivers in the right place to be able to see out and over the hood, So there is a lot of room to play with in dropping it down. I would guess the same seats in a Subaru BRZ or even a Corvette would not have as dramatic a headroom increase because those seats stock are already quite low. Manual sliders, the functionality is there but you lose anything power as well as the airbags built into the seat side

From my experience, german cars provide far more adjustability in term of seat height. My dad's 4 series' seats can go really low.

I checked that and it is as low as it goes... I will go to the dealer and try another car... I have always not liked it, but thought maybe due to all the extra equipment under seat they could only go that low...
Thanks
I have the premium package and the power seat and like you I wish the seat could go down another inch! I am 6'2" but with short legs. If I stop too short, I might hit the roof just before the front window and that window top is almost at eye level.
