How much do they charge for a tune?

$400 flat for NA tune and it goes up with power adders

little Update, towed the car to RET in Downey Ca, Greg the tuner there is gonna get it back to stock and throw it on the dyno. scrapping the lund tune and letting them tune the car

Are you local to him or did you have to drive a ways?

I'm in Pasadena and happily make the drive if my car needs his expertise.

I guess I just don't get paying $400 more for a tune when you already have paid for a tune from arguably the best tuning house in the world when it comes to mustangs, figure out the issue with the car and get the tune on it

to be fair, you had a bad experience with the sct device, not with the tune,

the tune has nothing to do with the device locking up a pcm

Another update, He got the car running today with the help from SCT its a lot easier to get in contact with them when you're a dealer. The car was back to stock and he tried loading the Lund tune again becus I already paid for it after the X4 was properly updated and it did the same thing. So it was in fact the tune causing problems. Car goes on the dyno tomorrow morning.

Yes the device also gave me problems, I spoke to Lund and he told me the file got corrupted, so both items have me problems.

Got the car back today, made 423whp and 389tq extremely happy with it. Sounds like a damn beast and drives like a completely new animal than before! here's vid of a dyno pull for you guys. [ame]

423whp with headers I think is a little low don't you think? I thought it was going to be more like 440whp at least. $1000+ for 10whp from headers is not the best deal. Maybe I'll leave headers alone and just do tune and cai

Meh, things happen. Lund IS one of the best out there. So, I would throw it down to bad luck/impatience on your side. Either way, glad you are happy with it.

Local tuner got 455 with full exhaust/cold air. These cars are sweet with a tune.
