For the FS class the wheel width has to be the same as standard. Does this mean the handling package wheels are no go since they are an optional package?

The steeda trident wheels are 19x10/11 and stock are 19x9.5-10 so this doesn't look like an option either.

If you can get a car ordered and delivered that way from Ford (without changing anything), then its going to be allowed. Anything else is not. That's the short answer.

You cannot mix and match parts from unrelated packages. You can't take a non-handling package Mach 1 without all the rest of the HP bits and just add the HP wheels. You can't take a base GT and just add the PP2 wheels. (you have to have all the rest of the PP2 bits.) Doesn't seem fair? Too bad, thems the rules.

For wheels you're allowed to go +-1" in diameter, and +-7mm in offset, but exact widths. That's the allowance for messing with wheels. They can be any weight.

Yes, if you want to do a full conversion, you can take a Mach 1 which started life w/o the handling pack, and add ALL of the handling pack parts and then run that with the wheels. That's ok.

Yes, if you're serious about winning at Nationals, you need to be very specific about what car you buy. Locally, ask your competitors. They may not mind if you run in FS if your mods are mild (but ask first)

... or come play in CAMC with the rest of us loons who just want to race the mustang with the mods that make sense to us, and who don't care to try to win at Nats in FS with a Mustang chassis. The Camaros should be fastest in FS anyway.
