No way that works for me since my "dealer" is in the states. (No, I didn't steal the car!). Eventually I'll bring it to a local UK Ford dealer and see what it will cost me and if its possible. Golden, if you get it done at a local dealer, let me know which (PM or in this thread), it might be worth going the same place if they know how to do it.

All the Sync3 features are US only for me since it wants a US phone number to enable them... A bit of a pain.
Can't u link up your phone using Bluetooth?
As it's not his car, I don't think he will do it. But can ask when I get mine done

Sorry to slightly hijack this thread b ut I'm new here. My GT is due in March and I'm excited. The salesman said it shiould come with sy nc 3 when i ordered it but i read somewhere that only US mustangs got sync 3.

is this true or do newer mustangs have sync 3 in the UK? So far I've been a bit let down by the dealers and I just expect to turn up and be disappointed on drive away day. I can't believe Ford are allowed to sell cars on a waiting list without knowing what the spec it comes with, what the exact pricing and road tax will be and without any idea what is the latest date any elements of the spec can be changed. Has anyone got sync 3?

Don't worry. It will have Sync3. Any EU mustang with a MY17 build has Sync3:thumbsup:

:welcome:
Your big decision will be to register in March or potentially pay extra first year tax for the lower ÂŁ140/year future tax.
Either way, doubt you'll be disappointed. The car is epic!

Ford know all these things but most dealers can't be bothered to find out. Mostly because the cars sell themselves, the dealer makes less on a Mustang than a Fiesta and generally they didn't become dealers because they were good at anything. There are some good ones but get stuck into the forums and make contact with Karen and Stacey on [email protected] and you won't go far wrong. Welcome; you're going to love it. :)
