S550 iPhone/iPad Cupholder mount?

I usually have my iPad mounted next to me in my other car. I tried using that mount in the EcoBoost but the cupholders are bigger. Turning the “nut” expands the bottom so it can lock into place in most cars. I can’t get it to expand enough to be firmly in place in the Mustang. Any suggestions?
