Yes, I'm resurrecting this old thread, just because a few new options are available.

These aren't cheap, but they're the first 2018/19 1/18 scale versions I've seen.

Man, some of these are great! I will have to buy a few.

I actually had a huge die cast collection, HotWheels, Matchbox, and higher end bigger stuff. Somewhere in the 1500 car range. Stuff starting from the early 40s to current day. Put it up on Craigslist that we were having a garage sale and it would include my collection. I had guys coming from all over the Western US show up. There was almost a fight in front of our house over some of the cars and the collection; it was hilarious. Made around 6k just off the cars that day. Unfortunately their worth was probably closer to 10k but I just didn't have time to list them individually.

I have a small handfull of Ford related stuff and that's it. Would like a S550 though.

GT Spirit models are superb....and very heavy as they're resin. I have the GT350 and Super Snakes

Nice to hear from someone who owns some from the same company. I broke down and bought the GT, even though mine is Lightning Blue.

Top-Speed Models had announced 4 colors (including Lightning Blue) in resin, sounding similar to the GT Spirit units in construction, but that was over a year ago and I haven't seen anything new from them since then. If they ever do release it, I will have to order that and put the OF one up for sale.
