Well, it looks like I'm the first S550 owner to get into an accident. The accident plus the issues the car already had when I got it have been quite painful and stressful for me. But luckily everything is getting taken care off just waiting for results.
Regarding the accident, it was a hit and run. I got rear ended 1 week after picking up my car and this happened in stop and go traffic on the expressway. I was sitting for a good 10-15 seconds since the car in front of me wasn't moving and somehow this IDIOT woman ends up rear ending me. I was in complete shock. How the hell is that even possible, you have to me insanely retarded to miss those LED lights, they are brighter than a girls waxed and oiled ass when she's tanning at the beach with the sun glaring off at it. Both are amazing to look at though. Anyways this lady pretty much ended up running for it when she realized the cops were on their way. The accident happened next to an exit ramp where we took the exit and pulled into a gas station and she ended up running. Here are some pics of the damages:
Damage Report (All damage is on the passenger side):
-Rear diffuser has a gap since it was disconnected partially from the bumper.
-Rear bumper is scratched up and part of the licence plate is engraved into the bumper.
-License plate light is broken and won't work.
-Bumper is sticking out a little on the passenger side where it connects to the quarter panel
-Quarter panel got pushed out as you can see the gap between the panel and the trunk.
-Trunk won't close properly and has to be slammed down in order for it to close which scratches up the bumper.
-Passenger tail light got pushed a little out of place as well
-If you open the trunk you can see a buckle form where the impact was so the unibody got tweaked.
-Gap has formed between the rear window and quarter panel since it got pushed out.
I really hope they catch this lady because the cops ran her plate and said the car wasn't registered so there is no info! WTF :( . I hope they somehow catch her.
