What do the homologate procedures entail?Hello,
I have been reading this forum for a long time. I ordered my ride 6.10.2014. Now my new mustang finally arrived. The car is not home yet, because of homologate procedures for EU roads.
Here is one picture of my two girls when we visited our importer.

Basically it needs to adjust the taillights. What do the homologate procedures entail?
Congrats on the new ride!

Thanks for the explanation; that makes sense because I do know about the EU rules for turn indicators. I believe the EU spec Mustang has amber turn indicators. Is there a reason you ordered a non-EU spec car for import instead of waiting for the EU spec car to be available?Basically it needs to adjust the taillights.
1) EU wants orange turn signals
2) when you hit brake and changing direction it needs to be visible both (brake light and turn signal) on one side
(sorry quite difficult to explain for me in english, I hope you understand)![]()
1) Main reason was importer told me that the car will be here in februar (sadly not fulfilled). And first cars for official distribution will arrive maybe in august. Thanks for the explanation; that makes sense because I do know about the EU rules for turn indicators. All good reasons! You will definitely have a unique car in your country.1) Main reason was importer told me that the car will be here in februar (sadly not fulfilled). And first cars for official distribution will arrive maybe in august.
2) EU spec car has ugly white tail lights (totally destroy cool feeling of the car)
3) EU spec car has not airholes on the hood
4) ugly big "elephant ear" side mirrors
5) not fan of rounded GT badge from limited edition
6) other technical things like missing adaptive cruise control, missing safety features (but not sure which ones)
7) 20" wheels not available for EU
Big congratulations from the Czech Republic as well!Hello,
