The LMR version is gravity cast. The CJ Pony version is flow-formed and cheaper to boot (currently) and a fraction of the price of the 6GR wheels which appear to be functionally identical.

I'm pretty sure the lmr wheels are flow formed too. They have some cast wheels but the 350/350r replica wheels are flow formed.

$134 a rim seems far off from the LMR $2200 for the set.

Would love to hear some opinions.

you're right, I was thinking of a different wheel. LMR's price is $1000/set. When LMR has a sale (a couple times a year) they go for $600/set
