You know I see and hear price pop up a lot around here. RTR makes some really great parts and they put a lot of effort into them. JR is involved in damn near every step of the process and he wont put his name on something that wont fit the bill. We're sitting on 30k plus cars too guys, we gotta pay to play.

I come from owning Japanese and European cars, everything for these cars is cheap compared to modding one of those. I think the majority of the complaints come from a little more old school owner base or people who have never stepped outside the big three in car modding. Just my guess.

Dark - I'm hearing you loud and clear on this, and in a previous life so did I...Don't tell anyone though

$2800 Titanium exhaust systems? $1299 Carbon Fiber Cold Air Intake?

I know how you mean and while I'm a couple minutes from 30 I agree too. It's expensive but the R&D, Testing, etc that goes into these parts is downright ridiculous.

It's in direct relation to the time in which they're released too. RTR and co has a knack for detail. If they're not satisfied they're not going to have it sold.

Yeah man, I mean I'm 36 and not trying to make anyone feel bad but damn, the cost for the majority of parts I've seen for the Mustang have been reasonable. Yes, there's always going to be some stuff that feels very price gougy and that you're paying more for a name than a good product but for the most part, I feel like the Mustang has a reasonable aftermarket pricing structure.
