Has anyone done this at home without access to a lift?

If so, can you share any tips/suggestions to make the install go smoothly?


Has anyone had the install done by their local Ford dealer? How much did they charge, and did they do a good job with exhaust and valance portions?

I would suggest doing it yourself if you have the time and patience. It doesn't look too complicated. Anyway, good luck and post pics as I am planing on doing the same mod.

DO NOT go to the ford dealers. Mine out here in Fort Worth butchered my bumper and the valance. They replaced the bumper, I'm still waiting on the replacement valance from them. It was a total nightmare and I regret taking it those guys. I was greedy and thought it would be great to get it done for $170 and 3 hours later.
Instead they had the car for a week and I now have a car with a bumper that is not perfect and the car only has 2100 miles.

As soon as I get my valance from these clowns I will do the install myself. I have fully lost confidence in the "professionals" at the dealers. They actually blamed Roush for making a "cheap piece of garbage".:shrug:
