I've been creeping this forum for sometime now, but have never posted. Quick summary, the kit isn't performing has I have seen with everyone else and I have no idea why.

I have purchased a 2015 Mustang GT PP and the Roush SC as a add-on. It was hell waiting for the parts to come in and to get them installed. The kit was installed by a Roush dealer here in Houston at Joe Myers Ford.

After 3 different sessions my best pull was 517RWHP/436 Torque. Note only 2 out of 9 pulls ever made it over 500.

The dealer has no idea why and is pretty much done with helping me. The people I've talked with over at Roush keep asking me the same stupid questions. Was it in 5th gear, did you redline it, etc.

Besides the SC the car only has a Kooks CB. I've pulled the plugs and made sure I was running the proper ones from the kit. I'm at a loss here and would appreciate any advice.

After spending so much money I would of hoped for better customer service.

And this is with a smoothing of 5... looks like the damn Ghostbusters attacked the graph.

I'll get with tech and discuss what you guys had gone over, I'm curious have you had it on more than one shops dyno or were all these the same day on the same dyno ?

Have you taken the car to the track? Dyno's will spit out different numbers as some read lower and some will read higher, they are just a tuning tool. Do you have any other experiences with this dyno facility? It's my opinion that the track tells the real story.

I have taken it to 2 different dynos, one being this one on 2 separate occasions. 3 different outing each time and both shops agree something is up. Houston Performance all they deal with is mustangs for the most part and the I have had it over at HP Motorsports which had a Mustang Dyno(it read lower of course).

From my understanding Chris Doyle was the guy my dealership was going back and forth with. Roush has looked over my tune and says it's good.

Looking at the graph, it's still making power when the run was stopped, so I'm sure there's power left there with a few more RPM. Other than that, it is a kit rated to 627 hp, so being gracious with a 15% drivetrain loss puts you at about 530 rwhp, doesn't seem that far off. Also, if it's hot out, I'm sure the PCM is being really safe with the timing and who knows, maybe the fuel isn't the best quality and the knock sensors are pulling a few degrees themselves. Any data logs showing IAT and knock?

I going to be picking up a SCT x4 here soon so I can look over some of these things. I've swapped fueling stations on both of these dyno sessions at Houston Performance. My peak the first go was at 490rwp. I watched a guy the same day with the identical setup minus different exhaust run 550rwhp.
I'm not happy with the way the graph looks bouncing all over the place.

This was my 2013 Mazdaspeed3

I very close to doing a custom tune on it... Part of the reason I bought this was to maintain somewhat of a factory warranty if something heads south. The way my graphs are looking I'm not very happy with it.

95 DEG AND 40% humidity might be the culprit

Need to data log with Sct. Look at measured lambda, spark advance and "knock sensor". Knock sensor will add or subtract roughly 5 deg which can be 75rwhp variance from high to low. If it's adding inning, meaning no detonation, it will be -1, -2.... If it's pulling timing because it's close or is detonating, it will be a positive number. On the dyno, it should not detonate on 93 octane. My guess from the eratic power that the timing is bouncing all over the place. It's possible, during install that the knock sensor is against the manifold or block causing false knock.

One easy test is make a run and watch the knock sensor. Then put a can of Torco or NOS off-road formula, Torco preferred. Then make a Dyno pull and watch knock sensor. If it was detonating it should then do it less with higher octane. Give the octane booster a little to mix in the tank and feed the system before the pull.
