Any body have any dyno results or 1/4 mile times for a 2016 with a Roush phase 1. Also how about with automatic trans.

Phase 1 600 rwhp no track times but I know with the right driver it's capable of 10.80''s @roush_550 ran that on stock tires. I'm not a drag racer so myself I might run mid 11's

I never dyno'd, but I ran on the 627 kit in 1000 ft DA on factory rubber.... solid 11.7's at 123 with a 1.9 60'. The 670 tune will put me at mid to low 11's on street tires with a good 60'. With a drag radial and good 60' I'd see 10's.

Remember though, I only ran the 627 kit.... everything else I'm bench racing based off my existing runs... I am an auto too....

Have you upgraded to the 670 yet?

I'm itching to try the filter lid bit, but need to get them to straighten out my tune 1st.

When you pop the lid off, did you install any sort of gasket/rubber stripping to seal it to the hood liner ? Almost looks like it could get water in there from the hood vents.

Ok I need help New here looks like a great forum. I have owned 9 mustangs going back to 65. I have a 99 Roush with a Vortech that runs high 10's. I just bought a 16 gt premium with auto trans ( bad knees). I just had the Roush phase 1 installed. I expected about 550rwhp and a mid 11 time. No dyno yet. So a few issues have me confused. first I keep seeing reports of 600 or more rwhp. Is this with the stock tune? My biggest problem is the other night I was out with my friend that has a 2016 C7 which has 460hp and should run an 11.7 to 12.0 and he crushed me. He pulled two car lengths right out of the hole. So my questions are should I be using traction control, should I be in D or S and what the hell is advance trac. I am not used to auto trans and all the new fangled stuff. What am I doing wrong. the dealer had no clue what this stuff did or how to use it.

You have the blower and he beat you? I ran with and beat a few C7's when I was tune and drag radial only.

The Roush tune is probably holding you back

Hesitates then surges (making for a 'jerky' start) when taking off from a stop, impossible to move off smoothly. At it's worst when cold or if turning from a stop. Seems OK once it gets moving or if I launch aggressively, but it sucks in traffic or if trying to drive like a normal person thru the 'hood.

Thinking it's tune related, could be something else. It's not as bad once the car gets up to full operating temp, but still there a bit.

Mine definitely pulls power back if I do not kill the TC (via the toggle or putting it in S+ mode). If you really want to get into it, you need to toggle into track mode - that kills TC and dials ATC way back.

Yes. Brenspeed and other Roush dealers will have it. 10 minute change
