Those of you with roush, do you run with the CAI lid off? If so, did it cause any problems...weird a/f ratio or anything?

I plan on getting pmas and new tune later but right now I wanna ride out the warranty :). I ordered the high flow filter from palm beach dyno and noticed people were running without the lid.

I run my phase 1 670 lit with lid off and a cervini hood witj the air duct straight to top of open air box. It runs stronger and pulls harder with lid off

Is there not a connection to the front air dam like the stock intake? That'd be ideal - assume there is as it's Roush.

All fine until it rains and water goes through the hood vent getting the filter wet.
Just sayin.

the intake does a have a snorkel that runs behind the grill. some people cut open the grill to force more air in. there is even a snorkel extender available
