Roush 670hp kit not supperted for export

Hi

I'm finishing installation now on brand new dealer car. If you ever deicide, take into account that roush is not supporting export calibrations, so EU also and car needs to be custom tuned. And to custom tune, you need hardware that will support it and tuner that will do. I'm finishing tune also, but that's not easy...

Some EU calibrations i already sent to Diablo, so they support some of them, i don't know how about SCT.

I don't know. I would hesitate to make such mods without WRITTEN supporting/warranty from someone.

It is well known the official warranty will be void without further question.

Who cares warranty if you want power? 5.0 engines are cheap, rebuild even cheaper. They are cheaper than supercharger that its put in

Thats why owners of eu models are 2 years behind us model owners. They can start asap, no warranty waiting

In this particular situation dealer gives own warranty, has trust to installer

Popular prices for block with pistons/crank 1500$, bare block only 650, complete engine 4000-7000.
Block is 3 times cheaper than 4.6 i was searching few days ago.

Who cares about warranty?
When you have money to put add FI to an NA engine means you have enough money to replace your clutch or coils if they fry. Not to mention you SHOULD replace clutch, coils, spark plugs and other drive train components when you add a SC to a freaking 5.0 engine that already has 400 hp.
Warranty does not cover aftermarket parts.
When I'll do my.turbo swap I'll drop the insurance also, I'll try to keep the small accidents insurance, but the rest is useless considering they will refund the OEM part.

You are right. These 5.0 litre engines are probably the most cost affordable engines.

I'm still thinking prices of the exotic brands which ALWAYS are 5 digits when we are talking about engines etc.

What's more funny is, that no tuner, so eg SCT, Diablo can scan parameters needed for fine tuning. Life is complicated...

Hard to upgrade so fast with a new platform.

Now needs to go to customer for breakin.
I finished tune at 5200 rpm and it's pushing 7lb air more that my Shelby at same RPM which has 600hp. I can't tune more since software limit for now, but for break in it's enough
