Sooo....I'm running 20X10s with 275/35/20 rubber. Needless to say, that fitment can cause some issues with wear and tear on the rims, especially the rim lip. I've been looking in to installing some rim protection and was wondering if anyone has them, had any experience with them. Please chime in!

You can buy whats called a rim lip gaurd online their like 50 bucks and they just apply right in.

Other option depending on your offset to go to a 285/35/20 if you wan more tire protection.

I've thought about going to a 285 (no offset on my current set up), also. Just figured this would be a cheaper option.

No I meant the offset of your wheels brotha lol.

So your DF5 is 20x10 et 40 which is traditional standard fitment so you can easily say if uou want go to a 285, yes its pricey because options are less.

Another option is to use a 275 tire that sits wide.

But this option is cost effective of course.
