Just found mine driving me crazy for the past year. Sounded creaky going over any uneven surface, like a frogs in my trunk lol. the issue was where the rear seats latch. I pulled them down and noticed a bit of wear and rubbed off paint on the latch points and it seemed a little play caused all this to happen. I put some moleskin around those areas and the noise is gone. I dont know if anyone else has had the issue but thought id share.

What's moleskin?
It's a thick, heavy fabric with adhesive on one side thats meant to be put into shoes or on your skin to prevent blisters. Would probably work fine for what Moostang is using it for. It might eventually flatten out, thin rubber sheet might be a better idea.
