I have the same problem in my 17 except mine stays even when warm during idle. I thought it was a belt or pulley but it wasnt. sounded like the driver side head area, but havent pinned it down. I assume its the same issue. It has been doing it for 18 months and nothing negative has occurred...
Yea, i couldnt figure it out for months, but thats what it was. Any uneven surface would make the groan sound. I thought it was the spare rubbing, then i though endlinks binding on the sway. Finally saw the wear on those and that fixed it.
I had the same issue, sounded like frogs in trunk lol. Its the u-joints/latch points in the first picture, you can see the wear. I just wrapped them in mole skin and its been fine over a year now. There is too much play back there.
I have the track handling pack and love it. It maybe felt a tad stiff for like a day lol. Thats because the stock suspension was just so sloppy and awful. I had to get rid of all the squats, dives, and body rolling. Now it drives like a sports car and not like a boat. I daily my car and its...
Thanks Cobra, i will check this all out. I went to the dealer once and they heard it and shrugged and said cars make noise lol, so i didnt get anywhere with them. I know it may just be something trivial and annoying, just getting ideas of things to check. Thanks again
Hi guys, so i have this squeak at idle once the car warms up a little and idles down. If i tap the gas it gets faster, and stays even when the car is warmed up fully. Once i start driving it seems to go away, or at least become inaudible, then when i stop it returns. Here is a link to the clip...
I got this the track handling pack and lateral/tension links all installed at once at Steeda, so its hard to say how much the benefit is. With that being said, ive had slammed cars in the past and the issues i would generally have from lowering are not present. The road doesnt take the wheel on...
Every company is different. Everyone has proprietary software to determine current market value and then value of vehicles for sale with a loss. Hope it works out for you.
Glad to see the post above. I work in insurance and my number 1 rule is always contact your insurance carrier in the event of an accident, this is why you pay them money every month. I hope everything works out for you, these things suck.
I'm a leather fanatic for just about everything except vehicle interior. Im in FL as well, and leather gets 3rd degree burns on your legs hot in the summer. Plus a few friends of mine have leather seats, and i sweat constantly. I love the look, but its cloth interior for me.
How much are base GT recaros if you dont mind me asking. I have a base and regular and wouldnt mind looking into a swap. All i see are for the leather recaros when shopping around. Thanks
I work in insurance as an underwriter and the answer depends. Do you want to insure the supercharger with the car? if so, then its more expensive as the classification changes. You could just not tell them about it, but then the mods arent covered in the event of a total loss. The other issue...
