^^^ Hi McDoodle, that's exactly what I've ordered! It's on the "Tamarlane" and I should take delivery late February.

I'm liking the Black!

At the moment I'm tossing up whether to change the wheels to a silver TSW Bathurst or the black GT350R 6g group buy wheel.

All the best, Happy New Year!

Cheers - the black certainly looks good. The MY16 colour isn't a metallic black (like the MY15 was) and looks much better. I'm not a fan of metallic black and although the 'Shadow Black' is officially referred to as 'Mica' type of paint it just looks like solid black to me. The depth of shine you get on it is fantastic (maybe the mica helps with that), the pictures don't do it justice. I had mine detailed on delivery and it looks superb - it feels like you could almost dive into the black.

Obviously colour combinations are all down to personal preference. The standard black GT wheels look pretty good to be honest, but I'm sure the 350R wheels would looks superb (and have a big impact on performance, which I don't think the TSW's will). I didn't realise there was a 6g group buy ...... is there also a group buy for a whole 350R, I'd prefer that!?

Shocking at how many swirls are in that brand new car. :(

Will be getting mine detailed also unless by some miracle the paint is clear, I've told my dealership not to prep my car or wash it. :)

When I get mine detailed after receiving it from the delears, what sort of cost should I be inspecting?

Thanks for the reply - I'll be getting Ceramic Pro done on mine. I had Opticoat on my last Black car which is 3 years old now but want the Ceramic Pro to compare.

Here is the link to the wheels - not a group buy as such but I'm currently getting pricing delivered to OZ. Exchange rate is a killer!

Ceramic coating is the way to go, even after rain, it stays clean :headbang:

No worries. Yes, the detail was well worth it. As 9111tiles says, ceramic is the way to go - looks fantastic and much easier to keep clean, it has been known to rain here in the UK on occasion :D. Hopefully I'll be trying out my new snow-foam lance this week if we get a break in the weather, see how easy (or otherwise) it is to get back to the shine of the original detail.

Thanks for the link to the wheels - but obviously my comments on them boosting performance are null and void. I was assuming that they were genuine 350R carbon wheels (made in Australia I believe). It's not so much the exchange rate here in the UK that cripples you, but the import duty and VAT - which basically add 30% to anything!

Looks effective! Full roll cage and stacks of negative on the front seem to indicate a track/drift car. Colours a bit Ken Block. Interesting.

So we have a few RHD Mustangs now delivered in Australia. We can confirm we get the indicator and wipers on the "correct" sides as per all local RHD cars. I notice you guys seem to have them on the other side. Any reason for this is? Is this the norm in the mother country these days?
