I can't find the pics now but I saw an article about a journalist in America doing a review on a silver convertible RHD model and it was a pre production model just to add.....

Now the reason for the post is, that in those pics it still showed a LHD setup even though it was a RHD build e.g.

1) The handbrake was still on the left side of the transmission tunnel
2) The cup holders were still on the right side, which means they are going to be in the way for gear changes
3) IIRC the centre console toggle switches and start/stop engine button were also setup for a LHD.

I have seen a few pics on google of promotional pics from Ford of interior looking correct but just found it strange that this car had everything setup for a LHD....

Thanks

All I can say about this is: It's a prototype, things may and probably will, change. The tail lights as shown in the video have been changed already for example. They no longer work like that if we have to believe what was shown in Paris and Essen

Lets just hope that they don't make the epic mistake of leaving everything as an LHD vehicle apart from the steering wheel, can you imagine the European car reviewers reaction to that. I'm already gutted I can't get the GT350 and have to settle for a GT. If the GT isn't even changed around correctly I might just say f**k it and import a LHD GT350.

I don't personally care about the buttons or even the positioning of the hand brake as long as the pedal positioning is still as perfect as it is on the LHD cars.

I drove a RHD Gallardo on one of those track day events and the pedal positioning was awful as a result of converting from LHD to RHD.

Just found this about the interior:

http://blog.caranddriver.com/how-ford-made-the-new-mustangs-interior-better-than-ever/

7. In right-hand-drive markets, the ignition button sits on the opposite side of the toggle switches. This otherwise symmetrical grouping means left- and right-hand-drive cars can use the same center-stack trim panel.
Good find, wish there was something in writing about the rest of the interior :gossip:

You will do when you want to rest your arm on the centre console only to be annoyed your elbow keeps going in to the cup holders :headbonk:

Don't go by the track day cars, I have also had a go in a gallardo down at Goodwood and found out they mess about with the peddles especially the accelerator to limit the driver in the car....with that I ended up having more fun in a 60s mustang :headbang:
