Hi all. First time poster here. I've got a deposit down for a 2018 Mustang GT (in Australia) and am already planning my mods and stereo install.
BLIS/CTA is not an option on the 2015-2017 cars over here, but is likely coming in 2018. I was hoping someone from the US with these options could help me out with these questions:
1. Which speakers do the reverse park and CTA tones play from?
2. Are they directional? For example, if something is close to the left rear, does the left rear speaker play the tone?
I'm planning to remove factory EQ (using info from this site) and feed the FL/FR/RL/RR outputs from the ACM to a DSP for a 3 way active front stage with subwoofers in the rear. The factory rear and centre speakers will be removed.
Has anyone done something similar, and if so, what happened to the reverse park and CTA tones?
I searched the forum for this info using both the forum search and Google but nothing came up. Thanks in advance for any help/guidance!
