Reverse Park Assist - Base Radio No Beep?

Hey guys,

Just picked up my GT, base interior with reverse park assist.

On my premium, it'd beep as you got closer to an obstruction.

On my base, the guidelines are still there, but I don't hear any beeping. The setting was in the menu on the instrument cluster on the premium but I don't see the option on base.

Am I missing something?

You have to have the $295 "Reverse Sensing System" option to get the beeps indicating how close you are. Is that on your window sticker under options? If so, you probably need to call your dealer.

Yep that's one of the options. I find it hard to believe the audible beep is a premium feature.
