Rev limit for boss 302 mani

What do people set their rev limit at with a 302 mani? I currently have it at 7500 is that safe? With an auto.

I set mine at 8000, I think hitting the limiter is more destructive than the RPM

Well since I’m auto when wot it’s going to hit the limiter so 7500 isn’t safe then?
