Resonator and muffler delete on V8

It sounds good and not loud loud... I think that's a good starting pointing.

Hi again.
As I posted earlier, I have removed the resonator and installed the X Pipe leaving the O.E mufflers.
The car now has a great V8 note, without being too loud and much more exhaust sound inside the cabin.
You are welcome to hear my car if you wish, depending where you are in Victoria :doh:

Thanks for the link champ, I think I will go down the path of x pipe also... where abouts are you as I travel alot...

I bought a Ford-Racing M-5251-M8 on fleabay, $360.00 landed,(still one left at that price!) the only other types available are chinese types and I preferred genuine Ford, cost me only $100 to install.
We travel alot too....I live down near Colac, don't get much up Melb way only to see family though. :cheers:

Yeah, its a genuine Ford part but not available in Aussie, only from Ford in USA, there are lots of "Genuine Ford" Mustang parts that are unavailable here through Ford. I could not locate anybody else here that sold it, so that's why I purchased from USA. The difference of only around $100, between genuine and a copy, I figured was worth it, and only 14 days for it to arrive.

The freight cost to Aussie was higher from all the other places. Even from Jegs direct was still dearer than buying off them through fleabay which had the cheapest freight cost $59.00 to my door.

Yeah I realised that... there is so many different ones on the net, some are about $200 and go all the way up to $800. Do you know the sellers name? Jegsperformance???

Yeah.....just go to .....bay site and search for M-5251-M8
and you should locate the item. It is sold by Jegs Performance, a huge auto parts seller. :cheers:
