I've broken one of the clips on the bumper where it connects to the fender so the bumper sticks out a little. I'm planning on removing the bumper sometime soon anyway, would it be possible to refasten the tab with some epoxy or something and it stay?

Suggestions welcome, I'd like to avoid a new bumper cover if possible.

What i did is use strap tape. Any tape will work actually as long as it's tensile and stretches a bit instead of snapping.

Anyway, I essentially just slipped the strap it into the bumper tabs and tied it to the body frame.

I put Permatex Black Silicone Adhesive Sealant on my clip and it hold good but i dont plan to remove my bumper now.
Does that hurt the paint? Planning on sealing some body panels with it

i was not careful with adhesive, seeped through. stuck to paint and dried... did bumper quick release fasteners instead (in case i need to get into intercooler, grill or lights) they look great but now gotta fix that adhesive crap.
