So I have a question. I just got a tune on my v6 MT from unleashed. (my, is the car eager to pull now... lol). But as far as the redline, which is something we can customize, does the 3.7 keep making power beyond 7k? I set my new limit to 7.2k, and idk if it is just the noise :headbang:, but it does feel faster when I shift higher up in there, I'll do some timed tests when I have time....

So what would be a safe place to shift at? I was thinking about setting it up to 7.35k or 7.4k. Will that be safe? Of course wear will be higher, but I'm asking about damaging, not wearing faster.... will a higher RPM damage my engine?

Thank you for answering my newbie questions ahead of time!

I dont think your doing yourself any favors shifting that high. Ive done 0 to 60 and 1/4 miles test and i havjt noticed any quicker times shifting at 7k vs 6500. No reason to go that high if its not doing any good. Maybe guys with more mods could go up to 7 or 7200....but i dont think many of us need to be shifting past 6800
