REDLINE RECARO SEATS

:doh:My Redline Recaro seats are not all leather. The lower segment that faces the shifter is material not EBONY LEATHER. Were these seats made wrong and used in my GT. ? I thought the whole seat would be leather. Especially for the price. The section that is NOT leather is the material used on the non leather Recaro seat and its grey not ebony. I never has these seats before. If anyone has leather Recaros please chime in. :ford:

Cost saving measures sometimes hurt the sale of the units. My seats should be all leather if it is not a mistake on manufacturing them. $$$$ for that option. :shocked:

i was going to dye my stitching red, then i found this section of cloth towards the shifter on both seats. decided it wasnt worth it...im sad :[

Just checked , around on the net. For Ford Recaros those seats are not all leather . Its a cost saver. The material non leather section unless you look closely one, might even be aware of it initially.:doh:

The inside, the part next to the shifter is cloth normally to keep the leather from squeaking as it rubs against the plastic center console area. This at least is what they did on the regular seats.

Yeah, thats what they did. The color of the material should have been Ebony. Less noticeable. What you said also leads into the cost saver area as well.:ford:
