This may not be the forum for this but...i have a 2015 GT. My buddy loves it, but doesnt want to part with his 2010 GT. Question he has is can he swap out his dinosaur rear suspension for an independant sim
ilar to the 15. I doubt it but lets have an expert chime in. Thanks.

anything is possible with a big enough wallet.
thats the thing, he wouldnt put a dollar figure on what he would pay, just if it was possible.

And I dont think he can swap it for 2015 IRS... Unless you pay to build it one

If he has great fab skills and can buy an IRS of some sort to put in himself...or if he has really deep pockets to pay someone else to do it. Sure it can be done, but for the effort, not worth it.

There are a lot of bolt locations that are shared between the S197 and S550. It wouldn't surprise me if the subframe can be bolted into an S197. Not saying a complete swap would be cake, but it's not impossible. FWIW the front subframes are nearly interchangeable.
