I also like that Cervini..................must resist, was really wanting to go down the performance enhancement route after the current round of piggy bank emptying mods are finished.

Damn you all!!!!

Yes you have to drill holes for them.

They're the reason my spoiler is slightly too far back as I COULD have done a proper test fit but there's no access to those red clips once you've pushed the thing down properly so I just had to rest the spoiler on top of the bootlid.

Had I got to press it all the way down to where it would sit, I would've seen it was too far back and opened the holes up accordingly, hence my suggestion to you to drill the holes a couple of mm forwards.

I think I posted a pic in my thread of all the holes, think there are 7 in total.

As nice bonus, the added weight of the spoiler now means I can give a gentle pull on the boot strap and it closes with a perfect clunk; no massive slam, no massive quick whip down of the wrist; just as it should be.

When you say a couple of mm forward do you mean towards the rear or towards the front of the car?

Front of the car.

Line the template up as per the instructions (making sure it's centered as per MY instructions!) and then mark your holes a couple of mm further up the bootlid towards the front of the car.

All these holes needed to be 2 or 3mm closer to where the the template is in this pic.

Alternatively, pull the template towards the rear window so it overhangs the bootlid by 2/3mm and mark your holes that way.
