Rear qtr protection

This weekend while washing my car, noticed that the rear qtr panel, has a lot of chips in the paint, just after the door.
Then I realized that is caused by tires being more flush with the fender, since I installed the 1" spacers!
Solution? install a protective film as done by Porsche, Subaru and other manufacturers on the bulged fenders.
Anyone with spacers has noticed this?
Any supplier that has design the shape for the protective film?

I have thousands of chips as described with stock EB/PP wheels/tires. RPI mudflaps didn't stop them but probably slowed it. I will be wrapping the sides of the car after repairing all the damage.

+1 with 20" Foundry's with no spacers...

thanks for the input. looks like the problem exist with or without spacers.
wrapping is the solution... too wide rear!

I really cant think why you can't sketchy up some shape and have a vinyl shop cut some transparent ones for you.
Or just buy 911 ones off ebay?

If you scroll down toward the bottom of the page there is an option for additional pieces that adhere to the quarter. $14. I think this may be what you are talking about?

Think I'm going to get the Anchor room kit also. Don't have an issue as of now but I have new wheels and tires coming soon (19X10 square.)
