Okay, got my car back this morning after about two hours. Basically they just lubed the weatherstripping. The top of the glass that slides in has excess silicone on it but, I figure I won't wipe it off until it has a chance to really soak into the weatherstripping. It does seem to close correctly now though and with a little more force. I got another 2,500 miles for it to stop working again before the warranty runs out LOL!
Anyone else have other results/fixes? Good to know for the post-warranty maintenance.
I guess that's what they did to mine as well, since there is also a coat of silicone on the top 1/4" of the glass.

Went in this afternoon as a walk in. 2 hours later and they fixed it by lubing up the weather stripping. I finally got fed up with the outside noise and having to pull it shut lol.

Yup, that seems to be the fix. They've done it to mine twice now in the 7 months I've had her. Probably worth investing in a can of silicone spray since that's what my service manager said they use.

Had mine fixed over the summer. They pulled the back seat, side panel and adjusted the window in the track. It took them about 2 hours and everything works like new with out any lube.

Actually, that's kind of what I was hoping for. Well, I still have time under warranty, I'm sure it will happen again, maybe I can get a permanent fix.

I had to go to a different, larger dealer to get it fixed correctly. I originally took it to the deal where I had purchased it, and they wanted to take it over to a private body shop to "adjust the convertible top". That's when I said I think I need another opinion. The second service department was matter of fact and said "oh, your window is just out of specs. It's an easy fix." I'm still not sure how it "got out of specs". It worked fine for the first 10 months I had the car. Who knows, maybe the torque wrench they used to tighten the bolts on the assembly line wasn't tightening them enough and a bunch had the window shift after a while.

Yeah, it just doesn't seem like lubing the weather strip every couple of months is 'normal' behavior.

I had both of my rear windows done this way last month at the dealer. Now my rear windows close with a solid clunk. Maybe they adjusted it a bit too much, but is sure beats the wind noise of a partially open window.

I'm having the same problem - but with a little twist. My passenger quarter window doesn't come all the way up, and makes a thump when it hits bottom going down. On the other hand, the driver's side thumps when it hits top and almost seems like it's coming up too much -- the driver's door window is chewing up the seal on the edge of the quarter window and at times the anti-pinch feature has stopped the auto up from letting the door window go all the way up.

Has anyone else had a problem with one of the rear quarter windows going up too far, and what are people's opinion on the chance of the dealer replacing the seal that's damaged (or will they try to consider it wear & tear)?
