Thanks snake bite; that gives me confidence to give it a go.
No problem. There is a good how to vid on cjpp web site. Buy some cheap trim removal tools from supercheap and musking tape to protect the boot lid

It is a fairly simple install, the only issue for me was trying to align the bolt holes on the bottom of the decklid

Just did mine today (Thanks 2-Stang). A relatively simple job. The force needed to get the old lid off seems excessive, but in fact its fine. Go DEEP with your removal tools rather than expecting to pry it off with them shallow...The new lids look an absolute treat. I'm completely smitten......

A little off this topic but still on the topic of decklids, I've bought an American style GT decklid but planning on changing the chrome GT badge for a matte black one, are the locating tabs on the back of the GT badge melted over on the back side of the decklid? It looks that way on mine and I'm wondering if I have to grind those back before removing the badge and badge tape?

From videos I've seen yes they're peened over so you need to cut/grind them away.

Was wondering the best place/price for the U.S. style GT decklid? I want the same with gloss black GT badge. Anyone thinking of a group buy for these again soon???

Send 2-STANG a message, get it with a silver badge and then change it over. The price of the stock one with black badge is eye watering ~750USD

2 stang has these i think. With the amount of group buys I am surprised he doesn't have a business yet! And a platinum sponsorship of the forum :)

Yeah I'm interested in changing over to the US GT rear deck lid as well... Possibly upgrade to black badge later, but might be just content with that change.

I just had a look and the Rear decklid group buy thread has been locked as Kev is no longer bringing them in

Holy moly! Just looked up black GT emblems for the rear deck lid... US60 (excl shipping) from US stores!!!! yikes! talk about making a killing on markups.

China seems to be talking their time manufacturing (ahem... copying/stealing) emblems for the 2015 Mustang!

Thanks for that mate. I've now watched a couple of videos and confirmed that. I'll cut it out tonight and replace it with the matte black.
