How easy/expensive is it to replace a rear bumper if I do it myself?
EDIT: Update... while parking this morning, I bumped into a concrete lightpole base at around 3mph. Jolted my son and I pretty good. When I got out there was no structural damage but I could see white powdery specs of the concrete in my rear bumper. I'm going to try spraying it off with water to assess the damage. I'm pretty upset about it! I wanted this car to be pristine for decades! But in any case, if it turns out to be a dozen or so little peppering marks...is this a job for touch up paint, body shop, or replacing the bumper? Again, I want it to look like it never happened.
I see some places call it a bumper cover and some refer to it as the rear bumper. In all cases though, they are unpainted. Does anyone (maybe a sponsor) offer rear bumpers/covers already painted/clear coated? And again, is it just some clips and bolts or is this an intense process if I do want to replace it?
Thanks
