Does anyone have a recommendation for the grease they use to lube bushes such as those on the rear ARB?
Cheers.

Aftermarket bushes normally have a silicon based grease in a small tube supplied with them (but aftermarket bushes are normally polyurethane).

I have bought silicon grease for my bikes in small quantities from eBay (small tubs of dow corning), a little goes a long way.

Alternatively, I have had similar small tubes of the silicon stuff from brakes international - they didn't actually have it for sale, but when I asked for grease for the sliding calliper pins he gave me (FOC) two small tubes - he made it clear that this was better / not the same as the grease they now sell for the back of the pads etc (they don't recommend copper grease on the backs now which he found amusing ...). The gaiters / bushes on the calliper pins are a traditional black rubber (maybe EPDM ?) so it would suggest to me that silicon grease is good for more than just polyurethane :like:

Thanks for the reply & info.

I've used that white PTFE aerosol grease on brake caliper slides, in the past and just to shown how old-skool I am, I've sourced the thin, adhesive, rubber backing for brake pads, from ebay. But I've also applied copper grease to the back of brake pads, in the past.

Perhaps I was being a bit over cautious thinking there might be a specific type of grease compatible with the rubber material the OEM bushes are made from.
Food for thought!
Cheers.
