Why I went with the SOLO exhaust setup. no mufflers of any kind and basically no drone. J-pipes work wonders. gotta love science! :)

I'm just going to be all philosophical and snarky around the edges -- it's not my job to make anyone else happy -- that's a choice everyone makes as an individual. Yeah, I'd like to not get woken up at midnight either, but... It's my job to make myself happy. I personally want maximum weight savings in my exhaust setup, but don't want an uncomfortable amount of drone -- for now I've decided not to decide. My advice -- get what you want, eat what you want, when you want, and adjust fire as other wants and needs dictate.
I wish I could do this.

My neighbor had an awesomely loud 2001 Camaro for a while, it was so loud the neighbors were complaining constantly because he left in the morning and came back around 10PM every night.

Eventually they bugged the police so much the police actually sent an officer in our neighborhood just so he could hear my neighbors car when he left in the morning.

My poor neighbor got a ticket for the exhaust being too loud :(

Damn California.

That sucks for your friend! I believe in the Golden rule, but people need to chill too!

Have you tried getting an H-Pipe instead I hear it's loud but has much less drone? That's what I was planning on getting.

That is pretty stupid man but wouldn't surprise me with this state.

Definitely doesn't help that this is a quiet neighborhood full of elders, so of course ANYTHING that is louder than a stock Harley is getting dirty looks.

I just have the X pipe. I will likely get the Ford Performance touring, or something similar. However on of the things I like about it is an can sneak in at 2 am without waking anyone. And you get that more exotic sound, and the 11lbs weight savings.

I would do different mufflers.
Same. The sound is a ton better than stock, but doesn't upset anyone.
