Radiator Fan question

Hello,
I have a question about the fan on my gt. Is it supposed to sound like a jet engine ramped up for take-off? It is seriously loud. I live in Oklahoma so it does get pretty hot outside. I pulled in at a gas station/store, parked in front of the doors, left the car running (a/c and seat cooling was on..it was hot), and we could hear the fan inside the store.

Shouldn't be any louder than other cars.
Some people have reported that the fan could be catching on the shroud. I wonder if that's the case for you.
