Anyone find the have a hard time installing their racestar wheels with the racestar lug nuts? I'll tried to do a trial fitting tonight and one of the wheels bolted up decent, but the other one kept seeming to bind on me. I pulled the wheel back off and made sure it had not damaged any threads and was fine, and the lug went on fine without the wheel but with the wheel on, no dice. Are there better lugs out there, or is it just me.

Are you using the black plastic ring? It did take me a while to hand thread everything even with the plastic ring and wiggling the wheel around a bit so that the lugs would thread by hand.

Yes I am using the hub ring. Still seems to be a pain to get bolts to align properly.

I know the tires are directional, but to rule out the wheel being defective or slightly out of tolerance, I'm wondering if swapping sides and verifying the same problem with that particular wheel is worth it.

make sure the lug is actually centered in the wheel. ran into that issue at the track friday night.

also make sure you take the ring off the hub when you go to put your stock wheels back on. it its a bitch to try to put the wheel back on and the ring is stuck to the hub. ask me how i know lol
