I see your point, but clinical depression has nothing to do with what you have/don't have. It's a terrible disease..
So true. Many people don't understand that depression is a physiological problem. I have even had people say depression is just an excuse to miss work, be in a bad mood, etc. People don't like to talk about it so it continues to be misunderstood.

I know I will miss him. Like many others have said, I grew up watching him. Can't even begin to calculate how many times I saw Mrs. Doubtfire. He was one of the few that could be hilarious without being vulgar. He was a fantastic comedian and, from what I have heard, I genuinely good person. He will be missed.

Came out today that he had early stages of Parkinson's. For someone suffering major depression, a diagnosis like that must have been a back breaking experience.

As is usually the case. Genius' tend to have 'tortured minds'. From the outside, he entertained millions. From the inside, it was probably a lonely place.
