So can my local roush cert. Ford dealer install a roush supercharger on a non-roush mustang?

I'm really interested in just their supercharger and not the aero kit. So if i purchase a GT just for an example, for 35,000 can they upcharge me 5k for the supercharger and install?

The numbers are just an est. Just wondering if they can upcharge me for a supercharger on a non-roush mustang.

I did call a few dealers already and they all have to get back with me tomorrow with an answer.

Any idea as to what the upcharge is for it?
probably up to the dealer, but don't expect it to be cheap...they will gouge you on the supercharger and the install...if you could buy the supercharger separately from a vendor here and have the dealer install it you'll save a lot. either way dealer is going to make their money off you.

i wanna say people been paying 9-12k at a dealer for blower+install. I can't remember though.

Ford performance website has the 670hp kit for 7k. I'm expecting a 7,500-8,000 upcharge. If it's gonna be like that then it may be worth it for what I'm looking for. So a base GT, I can find one of those for 32,000. Add 8,000 for the kit thats 40,000. there's no other car out there that is touching 700hp for 40k from the dealer with a warranty.

EXACTLY!!
Only I would say 10k in upcharge amount. Always better to go over and have money left over than shortchange yourself.
These Phase 1 supercharger kits are putting down 600 HP and more to the rear wheels. Phase 2 just came out,.....725 HP and 610 lbs. of torque. :headbang:
Good luck and keep us posted.

I went by my local dealer who is Rousch certified and he quoted me $2k to install and said it takes 3 days. Meanwhile Rousch I have seen quote around here $900 for the install and 1 day to install.

It was 10K for me at the dealer with a warranty. If you don't need the warranty it should be cheaper (have seen two people pay around 8K for it installed). Dealer install is going to have higher labor rates and/or charge more hours on average than a good shop. Phase 1 is a good match for a street car and they (Roush) treat you well from my experience.
