If I order a new GT in Magnetic, what, if any, stripes would look good? Black? Gray? what about that blacked out package?

"Look good" is a personal preference. If you really want to see then search for a Photoshop thread and see if someone can help you out.

Don't get me wrong, I wasn't trying to discourage you from seeking opinion! If you look around these threads you'll see a ton of pics, though, and maybe get a better idea.

Rocky, IMHO if you have black interior I suggest a black stripe. That way the color will tie into each other. Of course I'm gonna throw a monkey wrench into that theory, and say I saw a grey Mustang (not sure what grey as the car was an older model) with silver strips. Dang that thing looked good.

Of course as stated above, colors are a personal preference. :)

I had a Magnetic 16 GT Premium, had it naked (no stripe), looked great (when clean... which I wish you luck on, it’s as bad as having a black car :p ). If I were to have had a stripe on it, I would’ve gotten a black stripe with a fade, as that would compliment the black trim fantastically (weather striping, grill, trunk deck lid, heat extractor grills, etc), IMO, and also look “mean as hell”.
On a side note... you may want to consider the Showstopper Red interior as the dark magnetic outside with the red and black interior (it’s two tone) will absolutely pop.

I want the ceramic leather; I agree black stripe with black interior is cool but what , if anything, would go with mag/ceramic combo? I saw a light gray Stang in Fla with orange stripes and it knocked me out but Im leaning to the magnetic.
And if I got that accent package that throws everything haywaire. I'll keep on looking I guess but I appreciate the input.
Spork- what do you mean re a "fade"?

What would an ingot silver stripe look like on the magnetic? With ceramic interior?

Not magnetic, but this kind of stripe:

Also, I was suggesting Red & Black interior, not black:

Keep in mind that the ceramic interior limits you to the 400a package, which doesn’t use real leather (just the vinyl) if that matters to you. :)

Saw a Magnetic 2018 the other day, dude had white stripes with black outlining pinstripes (like the GT350's). Honestly, it made me consider getting stripes because the combo looked so good

Wow! The more combos I see the more confused I get. They ALL look good. Spork, now I understand what a fade is. Thanks!

Think so? Sometimes I think you're right, unless of course your car is white with blue stripes ( classic but for 350's only). But I was wondering about an understated look, like magnetic with dark silver or gray stripes, Does that make sense? Ive heard they can be applied after the fact/ maybe a mock up or experiment? And as far as from Jersey, you're right, but we are under a law here to have either stripes or flames. Or your girlfriend's name. And pinstripes of course. And a cool saying on the trunk, like "The Duke of Oil".Or my first car, "The Flame of Elvis"

I’m personally not big on stripes either... and am from Jersey (@NoVaGT :p )
BUT, in person, some combos do indeed look fantastic, whereas others do indeed look tacky. It all depends upon the combination and if it’s two colors complimenting each other or if it’s just two colors that clash in some weird attempt to look “loud” in a way. Honestly, though, you need to get what YOU like - it doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks about it because it’s your car and you’ll be living with it. Any suggestions anyone gives are just their own personal preferences. :sun: (seriously, though, the fade makes all the difference ;) )

Since you're going with the ceramic interior (for now) would you consider the good old white stripe. The ceramic is a light color, and would match nicely. Yeah, I know, I'm not helping one bit throwing in more choices. :)
