Question re: clutch "bouncing"

I've had this since I got the car. Basically, when I'm at low speeds (1st and 2nd) and press the clutch, it feels like something in the drivetrain "bounces" a bit and then settles down. The sounds have become more noticeable after my triax install (likely due to a bit of NVH increase), but they were clearly there before.

Is this what people refer to as the "drivetrain slop"? It might be related to the driveshaft "thunk" but I'm not really sure. AFAIR, This didn't happen in my '09 civic si.

EDIT: I've been reading a bit and the term "drivetrain lash" comes about quite a bit. Does that sound right?

Did you remove your clutch assist spring or install a steeda assist spring? Any IRS parts installed or any tire upgrades?

Have steeda clutch assist, triax, bmr cradle lockout and vertical links.

But all of that is largely irrelevant since its been doing it from the start.

It's normal, you are just hearing the clutch/driveline sounds that were not noticable before the shifter installation.
For me it brings back memories of 60's/70's muscle cars.
