Hello all! So I was wondering how I would go about adding the chrome surround that comes with the 50th Anniversary Appearance package to my current Ecoboost Premium w/ PP (and adaptive cruise control, since I know that changes the bottom portion of the grille). Basically that's the only thing I wanted from the 50th Appearance package, so it didn't make sense to order the whole thing. The grill I am talking about is below.
I think I found the correct part on Ford's website but please let me know if I'm wrong http://www.fordparts.com/Commerce/PartDetail.aspx?n=NbuFOCCYOVfvTZje1%2fNn7g%3d%3d&id=319422078&m=2&search=true&year=2015&make=Ford&model=Mustang
Basically, can they just add the chrome over my existing grille? Or does the whole grille have to be replaced? And if the latter is the case, will that affect anything significantly? I know the EcoBoost has vents behind the grill that open up at certain points. I'm a total newb when it comes to this so any advice is appreciated.
