I don't think pulleys make the gain that they used to.

Elimination of a power steering pump has made underdrive pulley gains minimal for the price to manufacture and sell.

It seems the only pulley worth swapping is the water pump piece to a lighter unit...that's about it

Like the others said I would think they are useless but if you want bling or are working on a super high rpm engine and need to lighten the rotating mass on the harmonic damper but those are not cheap.
