No. The smaller pulley is safe on your current tune.

I'm using stock pulley but I know the smaller one can be run without a tune. I have the 10 rib pulley kit on its way to me and I believe it will net me more boost by itself so I will wait till I dyno it with the 10 rib kit to find out what psi I'm at. If I don't gain any I will pulley down then.

The 10 rib kit on my 05' gained me 1 psi and hoping this kit will do the same.

What is the main advantage of the 10 rib kit, I seen it listed for $1850.00 on Whipples site. What is the expected gain out of this addition HP/Torque. To me the Whipple is lacking the low end torque but I was coming from an 07 gt500 with 4.10 gears. The whipple pulls really strong in 3/4 gear though.

I had the 10 rib on my 12,with the ATi damper.
If you have the 20% OD it will make 3-4 psi with the same size pulley.
I had a 3.125 pulley and it made 800 rwhp @17-18 psi on my 9.5 alluminator

Unfortunately that combo snapped the crank off my alluminator . I think it was more driver error as I hit the rev limitter hard on that run.I think that damper is heavy though, and ran off the first sheave(unlike the TVS 8 rib set up) putting more stress on the crank.
Just be careful!
Hopefully the new design is better

I went back to my TVS -the 8 rib /15% lower... and a snake bite- on stock compression built MMR boss long block.
Spinning the hell out of the TVS but it makes a whole boat of torque.

The graph below is the TVS(11.5: 1 MMR long block) vs the whipple(9.5:1) compression aluminator,so not quite apples to apples but same boost.

I would like to get this car to the 700/725 to the tire without doing long tubes. I know I will need to add the BAP and ID1000S and a custom tune to hopefully come close. It put down 650 rwhp on the Whipple supplied tune.
