Puddle lights - lead time

I know there have been other threads about this, but I cant find them!

I figure the puddle lights are pretty indicative of the parts situation as a whole, and I seem to remember some people on here had been waiting months for them.

I had mine replaced today. Both sides ordered on the same day;

- one side took 7 days
- other side took 2 weeks

So not as bad as some of the horror stories on here. Perhaps things are slowly getting better. :shrug:

Yea I don't blame you. My passenger one went about 2 weeks into ownership and it was about 4-5 days to get it in stock.

They have them in stock, just kick up a fuss should take no more than 2-3 days and they are a 60s job to fit.

When mine were ordered, one side (not sure which) was on permanent back order. Thats obviously being fixed now, but it seems stock levels are patchy at best (or at least they were).

Up until now I hadn't had to deal with Ford (apart from buying the car in the first place).

I missed out on all the fun you guys had in ordering and waiting for the car by buying a cancelled order... :headbonk:

Undergoing dental treatment with a rusty spoon would be fun compared to the waiting and lack of info during the wait at least. Who else would close a factory during the week I was meant to be built!
