Project Mary-Mai (2015 EB Convertible)

I bought the 2015 Ecoboost Convertible (Ruby Red) on May 16th 2015, and I named her "Mary-Mai"

So far she has following Mods;
K&N CAI (63-2589)
UPR single valve catch can

I installed MMR CAI first, but I didn't like the sound much... So I installed the K&N instead. I'm very happy with it.

Next mod I have done to my car is Magnaflow Street Catback!

I ordered it from FFTech for very low price! MikeB@FFTech helped me with this purchase. Thanks Mike!! Item came in 2 days from CA to FL. I bought it through this thread.

I installed the system on 7/11/15.

Unboxed!!

Car is up using ramps and jackstands.

(The ramps and the black jackstands are actually holding up the car. Blue jackstands are for extra safety...)

(I used rubber pads.)

During the installation, I realized that the convertible has an extra metal pan under the body... The installation was much harder than I thought because of the pan... :frusty: The pipe is running between the body and the pan. I ended up cutting the stock pipe to remove it, though the pan could be removed.

Whole process was such a pain... :(

After installation (before tightening the clamps)

I had to adjust the pipe position for multiple times... There is only less than 1cm (about 0.8cm) of clearance between pipe and pan, and pipe and axel each...

Haha, I forgot that mod. I got it from Amazon. I don't have a better pic, but here is the link. This holder is very nice. However, if someone sits on the passenger seat, his or her leg may touch the gooseneck. I installed it on the passenger seat rail.

I will take some pics tomorrow and post them here.

Yeah, I liked 2007 convertible, but now I like S550 convertible better.
