Good evening guys, I was wondering if I can get some ideas on whats going on in 2017 Mustang:shrug: GT A few days ago, I got my right rear wheels hit pretty hard while I was trying to turn right. My wheels got a bit cracked and side of the tire got a bit ripped, so I am waiting for the new tires to arrive. Since it is my daily, I had to keep on driving with it, and some abnormal symptoms started to show up. I am getting a low mpg. I used to have around 16, but recently I am getting 13. I am not getting a cold start in the morning. When I start my car in the morning, it feels like I am getting a warm start. Last, I am getting a bit of different and unusual sound on my exhaust. I cannot tell the difference while I drive, but I hear slight different sound when I start the car. What would be the possible issue and what are some ways to fix it? I am not even sure if this relates to the hit on my rear right wheels. Would be wonderful if I can get some help! Thank you.

You wheel cracked? What did you do got hit by someone else or drove over a curb?
Maybe the exhaust pipe is damaged and blocking air from flowing out of the back?
What other damages have you done?

It's all in your head. True. You know you have some damage, you're driving it damaged until you can get it fixed, its just looping in your head. There's no way you could have damaged anything else that bad just by hitting a curb.

Only way I could see something happening is if you also bumped the exhaust hard enough to move it to break an O2 sensor or rip off a wire plug to the sensor. I'd get under it and inspect.

Reminds me of the pics of the lady that brought her Suburban in because it was making a funny noise after she ran over a mattress. It was wrapped around her driveshaft.

Damage I can see right now are wheel cracks and tire ripped.
I was turning right and hit the curb where side walks are at.

Yeah. I am not expecting a lot of damage to cover, but it is sure that the car is running abnormally. I am not sure what place to go to get checked on. Ford dealership, muffler shop, performance shop, or just regular repair shop?

Get an alignment first.
It's possible you have damaged the suspension components causing the wheel to have excessive toe that it's dragging a bit.
