Prices in 12 Months

Hey guys, new to the forum and just wanted to say this place seems great and is full of great content.

So I planned on buying myself a new car this Christmas, something fun and daily drivable. Gave myself a budget of about 24k for a gently used car.Tossed around options like a g37 and WRX. I have recently fallen in love with the S550 and don't think I will be satisfied with anything else. I have never been a huge mustang guy, owned Japanese cars mostly, but the new gen is amazing!

So obviously my budget of 24k is not going to get me a s550 coyote, so I have decided to keep saving until I can afford one. Now I know this is an impossible question to answer exactly, but since everyone here seems to know their stuff; what would guys think a used 15 GT premium with PP is going to cost in about a year? According to my calculations, by this time next year I can probably afford 30-32k.

Again I know this is a hard thing to give a sure answer for, but I am just searching for some estimates, something to give me hope for the future. Thanks!!

Depending on options, you're probably in the right range. Figure about 20% - 25% depreciation during the first year.

You should be fine. Got a dealer (VW) in my area with 3 used '15 mustangs already. They are trying to get a premium price though.
