They probably just want to keep it on the lot for attracting customers & test drives.

This, or hoping someone mistakes it as a Limited Edition and thinks they are getting a steal:doh:

we won't see these for very long, once they start pouring into the dealerships, people will walk away from 54 grand and shop elsewhere.

Kinda ridiculous to see price gouging on a standard mass market car thats putting down essentially slower 0 to 60 and quarter mile times than a heavily discounted 13 sitting right next to it.. If they can find some really unintelligent yokels with money I guess... ;-)

Maybe they want more in a car than just 0 to 60 and quarter mile times. If they do, they'll be much happier with a 2015 (at list or below-list prices, of course).

One can argue (myself included) that unintelligent yokels only care about 0-60 and 1/4 mile times when choosing a car.

We have a winner.

And truth be told, yokels aren't really any less intelligent. It's just that their ego isn't held up by their belief of the appearance that they are.

Oh the uninformed talking again about things they know not of.. it will forever happen i guess. for the record.. no base gt with just the PP has run down the 1/4 or been put under any review. it weighs in a good 80-90 pounds less than the premium. as for 1/4 mile times I've seen no GT run a 1/4 with good track prep. When people compare the stock 11-14 gt's 1/4 mile times to the 15's they literally use THE BEST! stock 1/4 mile times achieved.. one dude argued they've seen them run a 12.6... and i was just like "dude one guy, one day MAY have ran a 12.6"... its not like all of them were running good 12 seconds times.

Another on point post. What we are experiencing here is the mythical interweb hype/post hype manic depression.

And BMR Tech just ran a 12.65 tonight. Timeslip here. http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php/bone-stock-300a-4580.html
