Lots of reasons. The main one I can think of is a car show. People love to see the original documents and chronology of a car tastefully displayed alongside the car.
I prefer seeing the car but either way.

But honestly why would anyone be wanting to display a window sticker?
Probably several reasons with possibly one of the most important being when you are selling your car.

Each Monroney sticker/label or window sticker supplies very important information about the vehicle being sold and allows a potential buyer to know exactly how the car was equipped from the factory along with MSRP, safety ratings, fuel economy and optional equipment. Of course in many cases it also shows the selling dealership name.

In my case I have them on the walls of my garage directly adjacent to the car in question and when someone comes over to my place they can look at the monroney sticker and know exactly what they are looking at. You would be surprised how little some people know about cars and these monroney stickers help inform people a great deal regarding the car in question.

Just my opinion but people who take good care of their window sticker chances are they will do the same for their vehicle as well.

:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Some folks I know who are archival specialists recommend to NOT laminate but use an acid-free clear cover so you can actually access the real document later.

Yeah I would not laminate it, Id find a clear sheath and use a laminated reprint if I ever felt so inclined to go to a car show

I have never kept documents for any past car.
For this one, I am keeping everything.
Not sure why, just seems like the right thing to do.
This car is special.

I have always laminated my window stickers with no problems. Lamination works for me.

Yes, it definitely preserves the document too.
